ASSESMENT TOOLS AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

Aspire verifies trainers' qualifications with regard to assessment tools used to evaluate early childhood programs and professionals. These tools are used by technical assistance staff to support early childhood quality improvement efforts, in quality rating improvement systems such as QUALITYstarsNY (QSNY), program monitoring, etc. Aspire does not verify trainers' credentials to administer child assessment tools, however.  

Listed below are some of the tools frequently used when assessing the quality of early childhood programs. If you are a trainer or consultant who has been certified to reliability to use one or more of these assessment tools, you can indicate this on your Aspire Professional Profile. Aspire requires you to submit documentation in order to verify that you have been deemed reliable (refer to the list below).

Once verified, this information will appear on your profile on the New York Works for Children Trainer Search.
