Description

This training provides 45 clock hours of professional development in the CDA 8 topic areas (advanced level) so that students can complete the CDA renewal credentialing process as established by the Council for Professional Recognition. Upon completion of course training the childcare provider will have higher levels of his/her skills in the areas of: health, students will be learning about ways to prevent child obesity, in the area of learning environment, students will learn about different learning styles, in the topic area of physical, students will learn about physical activity for children with disabilities, in cognitive, they will learn about teaching children how to discover math, in emotional, they will learn about regulating children’s impulses. This training will be lectured based, with group discussions, class assignments, and hands-on activities.
