Description

Hispanoamericana Educadores Infantiles seeks to assist its students in gaining an understanding of the definition of family, what it means to establish partnerships with families, encourage them, communicate with them, and how to support them in their children’s development. In this course students will learn how to implement effective strategies for engaging diverse families in early childhood programs. It will also help them learn and identify what different types of information & record documentation can be collected about children’s learning and development that can be used with families. Furthermore, they will be able to identify six partnership standards involving school-family-community (not exclusive): promoting parenting, communication, volunteering, learning at home, decision making and collaborating with the community as well as gaining knowledge on activities involving these standards to further promote relationships.
