Description

This practicum is for students who have completed 120 hours but have not prepared their professional portfolio. The classes will review the CDA competency areas and the appropriate NYS regulations. Participants will receive support in preparing competency statements that reflect their understanding of child development and applying it in the early childhood classroom. They will receive assistance in gathering resource materials to enhance their ability to meet the needs of children and families and fulfill the CDA requirements. . They will receive help to prepare for the final assessment.
