I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education since the early 1970's and have a diverse background of experience to share with both new and veteran teachers. In the past 20 years, my primary role in the field has been as a trainer, coach and professional development specialist. I have current certifications in both the Pre K and Infant CLASS, and am a certified Pre K CLASS trainer. I have created and facilitated hundreds of training sessions and workshops, both virtually and in person. Topics have included Classroom Management, Sexual Development in Young Children, Learning Environments, Professionalism/Ethics, Effective Teacher-Child Interactions, and many more. I was the Training Coordinator for the four counties in Southwest Florida for many years, as well as the Head Start FL State Manager for the Training/TA team. I am now back in NYC, and hope to share my trainer skills with programs and early educators in my home town.
