Kristi Cusa has worked in the field of early childhood education for the past 35 years as both a childcare provider and trainer in the field of early childhood education. Kristi holds Master's degrees in both Elementary Education and Art Education. As a Center Director for an NAEYC Accredited Child Care Center, she has a strong working knowledge of the accreditation process and OCFS regulations pertaining to licensed childcare. Presently, in her role as Professional Development Specialist for Child Care Solutions, she teaches trainings throughout Cayuga and Onondaga counties and throughout the state at the request of various organizations. She is a NYS Early Learning Credentialed Trainer Level 3 and is certified in NYS to teach Child Abuse and Maltreatment/Neglect workshops as well as Darkness 2 Light Stewards of Children Child Sexual Abuse Workshops. She is a NYS Pyramid Model Trainer and is a CDA instructor for 22 years. In addition, Kristi holds the TTAP Coaching Credential.
